College Overview

Rules and Regulations of the college:

 

1.     The admission is provisional. If ever the P.U.C. Boast Bangalore and Karnataka University, Dharwad find that ad­mission is in violation of rules then the head of the Institute has powers to cancel the admission.

2.     Students seeking admission for B. Music. Part-I must sober original marks card of PUC or equivalent examination kith me photo copies.

3.     Students joining from outside Karnataka state or other Linnets ties other than Karnataka University have to furnish Migration certificate at the time of admission.

4.     Students desirous of taking admission should fill with their own hand writing the details in the prescribed application form of the college.

5.     Students seeking change in the subjects are required to do the same by paying requisite fee and filling the prescribed form this facility one week after the completion of the admission process. This facility can be availed only once.

 6.     Students failing to attain 75% attendance are not allowed to appear for the examination as per the University rules.

 7.     Students seeking admission to this college from another college falling under the jurisdiction of Kamataka University need to submit an application for transfer to the previous college. Further the student is required to submit a postal order of value Rs. 20/- along with their application for admission to our college for Transfer Certificate.

 8.     At the time of admission the students are required to submit the Income and Caste certificates with photocopies proper attesta­tion.

 9.     Complete fee has to be paid at the time of admission. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

 10.  Student Representatives shall be elected based on their ex­amination performance.

 11.  Students seeking admission in our college who come from other colleges of another university are required to submit eligibility certificate at the time of admission. Failing which if the ad­mission is cancelled by the university, then college shall not be held responsible for such cancellation.

12. Students are required to maintain strict discipline and good conduct. Desciplm'ery action shall be taken on such students who violate.

13. The caution money and library deposit has to be claimed be­fore November of academic year failing which the amount shall be forfeited by the college.

14 Generally admission will be denied to employed persons students who is employed need to submit a no objection certification from Their department head for getting admission. Students while studying if they get employment are required to inform the college in  writing. Such students who are not interested in continuing in the. Middle of the academic year are required to intimate the college in Writing.

15 After admission the student is required to affix a passport size photograph on the identity card issued from the college and take the signature of the Principal on it.

16 Scholarships and Fee concessions are extended to students based on their attendance and performance in the examinations.

17  Before examination the students are required to return all the library books in good condition.

18 Incomplete applications and applications without relevant certificates will be summarily rejected.

Rules to be followed by the students:

1.     All extracurricular activities in the college will be conducted under the directions and supervision of college faculty. In case of any conflicts the decision of the Principal will be final.

2.     The students are prohibited to walk in the college premises when the classes are going on.

3.     The damage to college property if any is caused due to group activities of students has to be reimbursed by the students themselves. In addition the students have to M-the penalty levied by the college for, such undesirable activities. Writing by the students on the wall, black board and furniture is prohibited.

4.     Progress report shall be sent to parents periodically. Parents are also requested to pay visit to the college and tock of the situation of their wards with regard to their performance and as well their attendance by contacting the Principal and the Professors. It is necessary to have a fine cooperation between parents, management and faculty to enable the students perform better.

 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1.     Fine will be levied on students who fail to make the payments on time. If a student decides to quit the college in between then he will not be getting any refund. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

2.     If the student fails to pay the first term pays then he will not be entertained to participate in the college work.

3.     Students who are defaulters are not allowed to attend the examination.

4.     The right to modify the existing rules or add new rules is vested with the Principal.

5.     For any additional information the students are required to send their queries along with self addressed envelope affixing stamps of Rs. 4/- ( Four Only) to the principal or they, can even meet the principal during the office hours.
